Star Press: "Jenn Cooper: From a cashier to A Team, she continues to grow her businesses"

On Feb. 27, Cooper submitted her proposal, expecting a decision to come within 45 days. Months passed, and she still hadn’t heard anything.

In late July, she finally received the phone call she had been waiting for. A Team would be Ball State’s new vendor, with a contract lasting three to five years.

Shawn Sullivan, associate athletics director of marketing and fan engagement, said choosing Jennifer and A Team made the most sense.

Cooper’s familiarity with the fan base, venues and ordering processes, along with her different vision, all landed her the spot, Sullivan said.

“I think we’re just really pleased to have Jennifer and her team partnering here with us on these things, as they become more and more important to how fans consume sports and enjoy a game day experience, whether that’s at Scheumann Stadium or Worthen Arena,” Sullivan said. “I can’t wait to see how the rest of the season goes with just a few games in.”
